| 1. | 6/5/2008 9:34:00 AM | the ability to record the forecast of the wind and the actual wind of a particular session...how they compared. |
| 2. | 6/5/2008 9:56:00 AM | Description of spots, a few lines, similar to http://www.winzurf.co.nz/windsurf/wgtnz/wgtnz1.htm but in wiki style so folks can edit it. Without this one has to read through all the sessions logged for the spot, but still might not be able to figure out what is the best direction, what is the wind patter throughout the year or even a single day.
You could also add spot statistics, i.e. which spot was sailed how many times a year, in what wind, etc. One could figure out what is the typical wind for a particular spot. |
| 3. | 6/5/2008 10:20:00 AM | 5 day weatherforecast for each logged spot when you hit it |

| 5. | 6/5/2008 7:33:00 PM | I'm not sure what you plans are for integration with the original deepfried site are, but the thread on locations with wind guru and web cam are invaluable, |
| 6. | 6/5/2008 8:43:00 PM | It is a great innovation as is Deepfried Thanks |
| 7. | 6/5/2008 10:04:00 PM | Maybe add a my equipment inventory.
Maybe for speed sailors GPS speed api to gpsspeedwindsurfing for uploading data.
Maybe add in windguru data to compare forecast and actually wind.
Maybe link into forum for people to say if they plan to get out on a spot. i.e like wellington sailing sessions thread. I.e make it more like a portal for the windsurfing community. |
| 8. | 6/5/2008 10:31:00 PM | current wind in areas or a forecast but that wold not be too important as it is easy enough to get yourself |
| 9. | 6/6/2008 6:26:00 AM | cant find a dam thing wrong with it! |
| 10. | 6/6/2008 9:23:00 AM | Fix my log in problem.
Have a "help" function that doesn't require being signed up first, in case the problem is getting/staying signed up/getting into the site. |
| 11. | 6/7/2008 9:27:00 AM | as above |
| 12. | 6/8/2008 11:23:00 AM | no |
| 13. | 6/16/2008 7:58:00 AM | I think it would be cool to have like a session calender to note where and when you were planning to go windsurfing in the future. Then you could share the calender with others and see where and when others are planning to go out.
It would be especially useful for deciding where to go in the next few days as you could see if other people were thinking of going windsurfing.
As a beginner, I only know a few windsurfers and I'm not keen on going out on my own. To see where and when others are planning to go out would help me meet more folk and encourage me to get on the water. It'd also help the advanced guys make arrangements to meet up with their windsurfing pals.
I find your site a brilliant idea. Keep up the good work :-) |
